A CALL TO ARMS

Prayer is not a preparation for the battle; it is the battle!Leonard Ravenhill

There is a prayer meeting every Sunday morning before the main service in the board room next to the kitchen between 9:00 and 10:00 AM

Please come join us anytime during this hour as we give thanks for what the Lord has done, is doing, and promises to continue doing in our midst. It is a time that we come together dressed in the whole armour of God to make war on the evil forces that surround us. It is the most effective means for the Church to stand against the current of this wicked world and the spirits that govern it.We have been commanded by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:10 - 20 to “put on the whole armour of God and to stand against the wiles of the devil.”He also states in 2 Corinthians 10:3 - 6 that “the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds, cast down imaginations and every lofty opinion that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”There is nothing the devil hates more than to see the saints cry out to the Lord in prayers and supplications. He knows that in our weakness the Lord shows Himself strong. It is in the exercise of this right we have been given through the shed blood of Christ to enter the secret throne room of God, by the new and living way that Christ has opened for us, that we can find grace and help in the time of our need. Our needs are many and we are up against formidable resistance but let us take heart and know that “with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
